3.13 Indianapolis Hoosier Daddy's - QB Garrett Grayson

In the real world: The New Orleans Saints drafted Grayson in Round 3 and plan to groom him to succeed 36-year-old Drew Brees. Impressions pro: Good size, worked out of a pro-style offense at Colorado State. Impressions con: Inconsistent decision-making, durability (hamstring, collarbone). One scout figures he'll wind up like a Jon Kitna or a Ryan Fitzpatrick (read: backup/stopgap starter material).
In the TUFF world: Pittsburgh originally had this pick, but they already had a full roster, so they tried to trade it. After more than 20.5 hours, they finally found a taker in division rival Indianapolis. This is a win-win for Indy--depth behind Brees now, and in the best-case scenario, a successor in a hopefully still-powerful offense.  I admit to being surprised that Indy did not take Grayson at 3.01, so he's a great snag here (and makes Justin Hardy that much better a pick at 3.01).
