In the real world: Speedy (4.42 40) but definitely not small (6'1", 197 lb.), he went to Tampa Bay in Round 5. He could be the #2 receiver for the Bucs, perhaps as soon as next year (the rebuilding Bucs could cut Vincent Jackson after this season; he is presently owed $9.8 million for 2016). He's a little stiff and straight-lined. Matt Waldman really likes him, too--he did two articles on him, one that showcases his plusses, and another that focuses on the minuses and why he can address his issue of dropping passes. |
In the TUFF world: I really like this pick and I might have considered him at 3.06 (as a handcuff for Jackson). New Orleans had already improved their WR corps with Amari Cooper and Dorial Green-Beckham, but Bell could be a contributor in the long run, too. |
