2.13 Pittsburgh BIG PAPAS - RB Mike Davis

In the real world: When Marcus Lattimore tore his ACL in 2012, South Carolina didn't miss a beat when Mike Davis replaced him. Davis wasn't as productive last season; he was battling a hamstring injury and played a little heavier than usual. The San Francisco 49ers drafted him in Round 4, and for the short-term, at least, he'll be the #3 back in SF behind Carlos Hyde and free agent arrival Bush. Hyde didn't get in a lot of work last season, so it's not clear as to whether he's the starter or if there will be a committee.
In the TUFF world: Pittsburgh considered selling or trading this pick, but decided to use it on Davis. They have Bush (acquired in a trade with the Detroit Vipers last year) and Kendall Hunter (free agent scrap heap pickup) to handcuff him to anyway, so this fortifies their RB depth that way.
