2.10 Tennessee Taz Devils - QB Bryce Petty

In the real world: Petty was drafted by the New York Jets in Round 4. He may already have better arm strength than Geno Smith or Ryan Fitzpatrick, but a big knock on him is that he is a product of Baylor's one-read system and makes mistakes when forced to come off of that first read. Scouting reports run the gamut from "has the tools to be a starter" to "backup-caliber".
In the TUFF world: The Taz Devils needed depth at QB, so they took Petty here. And if Petty doesn't work out, it's no big loss.  Besides, the 2016 draft may turn out to be richer at QB than this year's was.
