3.10 Tennessee Taz Devils - WR DeAndre Smelter

In the real world: The 49ers drafted Smelter in Round 3, even though he is coming off a torn ACL (suffered in December 2014). In ten games with Georgia Tech last season, he racked up 715 yards and 7 touchdowns on 35 receptions. Sigmund Bloom says that the ACL notwithstanding, he's "not that different from Breshad Perriman." The question is, will that injury affect his ability to gain seperation against opposing corners? He's expected to sit out 2015 as he continues to recover from the ACL, so whoever drafts him, is doing so with upside in mind. Note: Anquan Boldin is 35 and entering the final year of his current contract.
In the TUFF world: The Taz Devils could use the help at wide receiver: They have Demaryius Thomas and Mike Wallace, with Davante Adams entering his second year, but not much else. But they'll have to wait a year if they want to find out what they have in Smelter. This doubles as a no-surprise homer pick--Lonnie Daniel is a Georgia Tech guy.
